Customers can see how much gas and electricity they are using and compare their usage against other households in their local area
Book and track the status of service appointments
Obtain emergency numbers for gas, electricity and home services products
View energy saving tips to help reduce energy usage
Allow users to obtain information on how to read energy meters
Technical features:
Compatible with both Android and Apple operating systems
May be used over any wireless Internet, 3G or 4G connection
Allow for communication among the utility, the customer, and the customer's major appliances, home and office thermostat, etc.
Some, but not all, of the apps are voice enabled
At least 60% of the apps are developed by parties other than the gas, electric or water utilities
