The Implications Wheel®

We have been using the Implications Wheel since 2005, having seen Joel demonstrate its power and potential at a CAM-I conference. Since then we have built many powerful models of future possibilities in the public and private sector, both in the EU and USA.

In our experience, with the right diversity of people involved in its creation, the Implications Wheel opens up opportunities and highlights risks, especially one or two levels deeper than traditional scenario and risk analyses reveal.

On a major EU programme, the Implications Wheel model revealed significant downstream risks 2 years downstream of the modelling workshop. It also highlighted the potential mitigation steps to take, which were subsequently carried through to give an acceptable outcome for all parties. We strongly recommend this process and the excellent training team in the USA.
